Privacy Policy

At PDFKit, we prioritize your privacy. We do not collect any personal data from our users. PDF files you import, your reading progress, bookmarks, highlights, library settings, and tool outputs are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any server. Every operation in the toolbox — merge, split, compress, convert, rotate, reorder, password, watermark, page numbers — runs entirely on-device.

Since we do not collect any user data, there is no information to use or process. The app reads and writes PDFs only on your device. PDFKit operates fully offline for its core PDF features and never requires an account.

PDFKit is supported by ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may use limited information (such as your device's advertising identifier and general app interaction signals) to show relevant ads. PDFKit itself does not collect, store, or share your PDFs, reading data, or any personal identifiers — those never leave your device. We do not share any of your PDF files, reading data, or app data with third parties because none of it ever leaves your device. The only third party involved in any data handling is Google AdMob (for advertising), and that is limited to the standard AdMob signals described above.

All app data — your PDF library, bookmarks, highlights, reading progress, and tool outputs — is stored locally on your device using the operating system's standard sandboxed storage. We employ stringent security practices on the small number of integrations we do have (AdMob).

Since we do not collect or store any personal information on external servers, there is nothing to retain on our side. All application data lives on your device and can be removed at any time by deleting individual files in the app, clearing the app's storage, or uninstalling the application.

Our application is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13 ("Children"). We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If you become aware that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us so that we can take appropriate steps.

We are dedicated to complying with the Play Families Policy. PDFKit is designed to be safe for all users, including children, and we ensure that the app content adheres to the guidelines set forth by the Play Families Policy.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.
